Bottles are found in abundance along the beach, all kind and shapes. We tends to ignore them since they become the "natural landscape" of the beach. I use to collect colored bottles and glass before, but the hobby did not took off due to lack of fund back then, plus they were rare. 3 years ago when I lived in Kuala Tutong by the river, at low tide, one will find lots of junks awashed on the river shore, this includes varieties of bottles, Smirnoff and JD's to name a few. I was actually looking for a good bottles as a subject and found the Smirnoff for this project I called the Sundrops. I got my boy to carry it around till we found a good spot to put it. I found it awkward at first having to almost lie down on my tummy in order to stay low for the shots, and having people looking at me photographing a liquor bottle.
Remember the Smirnoff ads? I wonder what one will see looking through the bottle and spirit? *Hick*
