Its All About Cats (Felis silvestris catus)

CATWALK

Cat stroll more likely, caught this one strolling along happily, a born hunter, cats behave differently once they are out of the house, their cats instinct suddenly kicks in and become territorial. Cats leave "paw prints" on everything they like including their master (a show of affection or ownership - they own you!), its undetectable by human but cats have a sense of smell 14 times as strong as human.

CATNAP

Do Cats have dream? My mum said that if their ears twitched whilst sleeping, they are dreaming, hmmm...is it something like R.E.M? Rapid Ears Movement for cats? Anyway their hearing are a tad better than us on the high pitch end by 64Khz.(1.6 Octaves), and one Octave above their nemesis i.e dogs.

CAT'S EYE

Cats have highly advanced hearing, eyesight, taste and touch receptors.Cats night vision superior to human at night but their vision inferior in daylight. Ever looked into their eyes and wonders what the aperture value are, think f-stop. They have dozens of movable whiskers (vibrissae) to aid navigation and sensation ( A friend told me, if you trim those whiskers, the cat will behave as if they lost their balance - a sense)

I could blog all day about cats, but that is another story, I used to own a few before my son arrived, cats are wonderful companion and pets if trained properly. Sadly today there a lot of strays out there, and it is impossible to adopt them all. In some countries they were put to sleep because of their numbers which impacted the environmental balance (they become pestilence).
Alhamdulillah Brunei is still OK ish for them, eventhough everyday I could see a lot of them being killed on the road. 9 Lives? well soon or later they will run out if this is keep on happening. Right?
